· The main responsibility of the Sales Assistant is to assist customers by enhancing and promoting sales in the showroom.
Key Accountabilities:
Following company and departmental benchmarks
Following all reasonable instructions as requested by the management
Being aware of all in-store promotions, such as credit facilities, activities etc.
Keeping all company information, including sales figures, strictly confidential
Ensuring he / she follows all company rules and regulations
Following all company safety and security procedures
Representing the company in the best way possible at all times, whether on or off duty
Following guidelines as established in the Sales and VM Manuals
Having an excellent and up to date knowledge of all products
Caring for specified sales area, ensuring it is clean, tidy and full
Preparing filling schedules for shelf fillers
Ensuring all products in specified area are correctly priced
Creating sales opportunities
Ensuring sales opportunities are constantly being created and met
Ensuring all displays are as instructed by the Visual Merchandisers
Completing in an honest and accurate way, all daily and weekly checklists
Preparing monthly Purchasing feedback form for his / her area
Reporting and processing damaged display items to Sales Manager
Doing regular stock checks and liaising with stock control
Being constantly aware of customers and their needs
Ensuring that all customers, irrespective of colour, creed or sex are treated equally
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
3 years retail sales experience
Good written and spoken English
Computer literate
Excellent people skills
Spoken Arabic preferred
