We are seeking to hire Department Manager for our Toys R Us store, located in Kuwait. You will be reporting to the Store Manager and responsible for:
- Ensuring the highest standard of customer service in the department
- Ensuring that department' s sales targets are achieved
- Maintaining availability of the top selling products in the department
- Ensuring presentable, eye-catching display maintained in the department
- Training of the staff members on the product knowledge, new arrivals and conducting refresher courses periodically
- Preparing and maintaining timely and efficient staff roaster, in order to optimise man power utilisation
- Briefing the sales team about company profile, new lines in the business, promotional campaigns and related matters of the company
- Ensuring continuous product availability on the shop floor
- Handling the cash float and cash safe custody
- Ensuring that staff members are competent and motivated to deliver effective service to the customers
- Supporting the Store Manager on decisions relating to operations
About You:
To be successful in winning this role, you will be able to demonstrate:- 2-3 years of experience as supervisor, staff manager
- Customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of computer and MS Office applications
- Good presentation and excellent personal organisation
- A passion for the retail industry
- Leadership abilities

- Ability to work in a team
- Pride in achieving individual targets
