An International Firm of Consulting Engineers urgently requires:
Resident Engineer (Electrical) - With minimum 12 years practical experience in HV Substation Project.
Assistant Resident Engineer (Electrical) - With minimum 7 years practical experience in HV Substation Project.
Specific Requirements:
Should have profound Theoretical & Practical knowledge of and experience in:
- Erection, testing and commissioning of GIS switchgear, power transformers and all other components of a substation
- Site supervision with international contractors as consultants
- Conversant with the related international standards and test procedures
- FAT- procedures
- SAT- procedures
- Conducting site and progress meetings
- Controlling & certification of work progress
- Close co-ordination with all other disciplines of the project
- Testing & commissioning
- Close liaison with clients and the company management.
General requirements for the above positions:
1. Fluency in English "written and spoken" and computer literacy (MS Office package).
2. Excellent correspondence skills in contractual & technical matters.
3. Capable of controlling the project independently (for Resident Engineer's position)
4. Liaison with the client's specialised engineers
5. Experience in site supervision with international contractors is essentially required
6. UAE work experience preferred
7. Valid UAE driving license.
