An IT Company in Dubai, UAE requires a Network Engineer.
Duties
• Develop and manage the Local & Wide Area Network and Mail System.
• Support and Maintain the backbone network, Leased Line, PRI (Routing, Switching & VLAN)
• Maintain inventory of computer systems (hardware and software) for easy reference and maintenance.
• Ensure the validity of Hardware and Software maintenance contracts with the relevant vendors.
• Assist and support end-users by trouble-shooting their PCs and software and providing training to ensure that IT is used effectively.
• Responsible for installing software for new PCs and maintain Data Security
• Ensure stable and effective IT systems and to promote efficient integration of IT solutions in all business processes and functions in the company
Skills
• Bachelors/ Masters Degree
• 3 - 5 years experience in field of IT.
• Operating System (Windows Server 2003/2008 and PCs) skills
• Experience in Lotus Domino/ Lotus Notes Environment
• Experience in AVAYA telephony system is an added advantage
• Exposure to IBM Blade Servers, Tape Library, HP Servers
• CCNA certification required
• Experienced in handling Database/Application software systems
• should be a self-starter, willingness to adopt and be able to work with minimal supervision
